Playdate with RJ

This morning I took a break from packing and took Izabel to Macarthur Center to play with RJ for a little while. I didn't know how she'd do in the big play place with the bigger kids but as soon as I put her on the ground she took off! She loved it and kept getting mad at me when I'd try to bring her over closer to us. Looks like we have a new place to hang out and there just happens to be a Starbucks right there!!!

First Trip to the Park

Yesterday afternoon we decided to take Izabel over to the neighborhood park to play for a little bit. We finally got a day that wasn't terribly hot or smokey so we took advantage of it! Izabel played on the swing and the bench and walked around in the grass a little. She wasn't a huge fan but I'm sure it will grow on her as she's able to do more things there! Here are some pics we were able to snap since Noah was with us!

Izabel's First Trip to the Zoo!

Today I took Izabel to the zoo for the first time. We read lots of books about different animals and talk about all the different sounds they make so I was excited to get to show them to her up close! We went with our friends Rebecca and RJ and we all had a great time.

Summer Days

We had a few friends over yesterday to hang out by the pool and cookout. Izabel must have thought it was a party for her because she had a blast getting so much attention from everyone here. We had a great time! Yesterday was one of the reasons I love summer so much!!!

Mini Vacation!

Noah and I took a much need couple days away this week. We went to Atlantic City Tuesday evening and stayed until Thursday afternoon. We got an amazing room at Harrah's Resort and Casino and spent a few days just the two of us! This is something we rarely get to do anymore. My parents came to stay with Izabel which is something we are very blessed to have available to us and they just love spending the time with her. We spent a lot of time playing games but we walked around and window shopped as well. We also had breakfast in bed both days and went out to a nice romantic dinner Wednesday night. It was just what we needed to recharge but we missed Izabel like crazy and we couldn't wait to see her when we got home Thursday night. We actually woke her up when we peeked in her room which was a big mistake because she thought it was playtime and was up for two hours! Now we're settling back into our routine and getting ready for our trip to Vermont next week!
