Atlantic City

Noah and I visited Atlantic City over the weekend to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary! We stayed at Ballys and went with one of Noah's friends. We got in late Friday night and left Sunday afternoon. We played games, shopped and ate! We had a great time and we can't wait to go back again!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Well as of today Noah and I have been married for 3 years! In some ways it seems like it was just yesterday and in other ways it seems like it has been a lifetime. We've certainly seen our share of ups and downs but we are so amazingly blessed that it's hard to stay down for to long. We feel like we've done very well in these past three years and we only have more great things to accomplish! This weekend we're going to Atlantic City to celebrate together and it'll be nice little getaway for the two of us!

Virginia Living Museum

Last Friday Rebecca and I took Izabel and RJ to the Virginia Living Museum. There isn't a lot there, but the kids seemed to like it and it was something different to do. It's been a few days since we went, but I'm swamped at work so expect postings to be a little further apart than they have been over the summer. I'm going to try my best to keep taking pictures and putting them up for all of you to see though!

10 Months!

I can't believe that Izabel is 10 months old today...8-8-08! She's turning into this amazing little person right before our eyes and it is so incrediable to watch all of the new things she learns how to do. I'm back to work pretty much full time now so we're not doing as many play dates or outings but she's still meeting up with RJ at least once a week and going to Gymboree. During the day she's back to hanging out with Grandma and she has a great time playing with her!

She's about 18 lbs now. This is a rough estimate because I had to take it at home. Her hair is finally starting to lay down now that it is getting long enough. She has three teeth and the fourth will be here any day. Her eyes are still blue and we're still unsure what color her hair will be.

She eats pretty much anything we'll give her. She's doing a lot more table food now and less and less jars. The table food is much more of a mess but she has to learn somehow! She loves grapes (yes I cut them into little teeny pieces) chicken, waffles, pancakes, applesauce, yogurt, crackers, pears, macaroni, and and peaches. She tried corn last night and that went over pretty well. She still does not like green beans though!

She's crawling so fast it's hard to keep up but now she is standing up on her own and the biggest achievement this month was WALKING! It's so exciting! She says mama and dada and she's got a few other sounds in there. We're working on saying hi. She also loves to shake her head no but she doesn't always mean no when she shakes it! It's pretty funny though! She's getting bigger and bigger everyday and exploring new things. We can't wait to see what this month has in store!

Ladies and Gentlemen...We Have A Walker!

That's right! Izabel is now walking!!! She's taking four and five steps at a time so she's not quite getting into everything but it's only a matter of days. It's amazing how you don't have to teach them these things, all of the sudden one day they can just do them and Izabel is growing and developing so well! We're so excited and I actually got some video of it last night so everyone can see!

Walking at 10 Months???

Izabel has taken a step here and there since she started standing on her own but today she really went for it! She took three steps to me each of three different times. We were excited and cheering for her and she was proud of herself! Then she was standing in the middle of the living room and took three steps all on her own! None of us were calling her or anything. It won't be long now before she takes off!!!

Week in Review!

Last week I was back at work full time. I had a conference in Virginia Beach Monday through Wednesday though so I only had to drive to Hampton one day (we don't work on Friday's in the summer). It was a long week and I'm really going to have to get used to working all day again. Friday started our tax free weekend here in Virginia so Izabel and I got up early and met Rebecca and RJ at Babies R Us to do some shopping. Diapers were on sale and you can never have enough of those! We got some other things too ofcourse and then we went to Office Max so I could get some things for school. We also hit up Kohl's for back to work clothes for me! It was fun but Izabel has been pretty cranky with this fourth tooth coming in. Saturday we went to Gymboree and she had a great time and then we went to Humaira's for the night. Izabel had a great time playing with her three little dogs! She had a horrible time sleeping though so it was a long night for both of us. Today we're just hanging out at home and trying to take it easy! It's back to work tomorrow but I have another conference that keeps me in Virginia Beach all week!
