28 Weeks - The Beginning of the End

Today marks the 28th week of this pregnancy and the beginning of the third trimester. I wish I could say it feels like it's gone by really fast but it feels like I have been pregnant forever! Considering the short amount of time between delivering Izabel and getting pregnant with Tanner I have been pregnant for 13 out of the last 24 months and I still have a little more than 2 months to go. The countdown now is 10 more weeks since we will schedule a c-section. This pregnancy has been much more difficult than Izabel was but at least Tanner is healthy and so far everything has gone smoothly. I am very thankful for that.
Izabel defintely doesn't understand that a new baby is coming but she knows that Tanner is in my tummy and she'll run up and wave to my stomach or give me kisses. She gets to excited when we talk about him. Hopefully some of that excitement will transfer to the actual baby when he is taking up lots of mommies time with feedings!
For now I am trying to stay focused on work. It is a very busy time of year for me and I have a lot of things to accomplish before maternity leave starts (April 2nd!) We also still have a lot to do here to get ready for Tanner's arrival so these last 10 weeks should go by pretty quickly! They'd go by even faster if I could manage to get some sleep!!! I guess I'll hope for that again one day!
